Hands for Impact is a collaborative group of analysts, project leads and associates. We are expanding our team to ensure the successful delivery of projects, drawing on our expertise in Social Investment, Social Value, and non-profit impact theory and implementation.

CLAUDIA WACE
Co-Founder & Impact Strategy Lead Level 1: Social Value Associate
Claudia has held a variety of roles in the non-profit sector, spanning governance, communications, strategy development, monitoring and evaluation, and fundraising. Alongside HFI's mahi, she provides strategic support to youth-focused and community organisations on monitoring, learning, and articulating change. She also serves as a trustee of a UK-based charitable trust, guiding impact strategy across rural regeneration, public service wellbeing, and environmental protection.
Claudia’s passion for impact measurement stems from experiencing its transformative potential in helping grass root organisations articulate their story and shape their future. She brings this firsthand experience to her work, ensuring organisations feel supported throughout the impact measurement process.
As Impact Strategy Lead at Hands For Impact, Claudia ensures the organisation’s work drives transformative, sector-wide change.

DAWN HUTCHESSON
Mentor Supervisor & Project Lead
Level 1: Social Value Associate
Dawn is an experienced General Manager and Sector Specialist in the non profit sector. During her career she has held a variety of roles across a range of NGOs and community organisations.
Dawn is known for her ability for inclusive and collaborative leadership; policy and commercial acumen; agile strategic thinking to execute strategy; and operational and financial responsibility. With over 30 years in the charitable and business sectors she has a proven track record of delivering a high level of complexity in programme development and roll out.
Dawn is passionate about supporting the development of programmes that achieve optimum social impact, giving support to change-making organisations, and she leads and oversees the Hands For Impact™ programme ensuring it is delivered efficiently and effectively.

DR GRACE CLARE
SROI Analyst
Level 2: Accredited Practitioner
With a PhD in impact measurement for non-profit organisations and having led a sector-wide SROI for the food rescue sector in Aotearoa, Grace brings a wealth of academic knowledge and SROI expertise to the team. Her passion for social equality and just social systems, coupled with a strong value for collaboration, makes her a dedicated team player aligned with the vision of Hands for Impact.
In her role, Grace leads the academic design and execution of SROI studies, guides associates on methodology, analysis and reporting, and oversees the dissemination of findings to build sector capacity.
Additionally, Grace contributes to the strategic direction of Hands for Impact and supports the transformation of the wider impact sector.

GEORGIA RICHARDS
Social Impact Associate
Level 1: Social Value Associate
Georgia brings a wealth of experience in a number of areas, with her most recent work being lead Project Manager Height’s award-winning Capability Uplift Programme, as well as a background in financial analysis having previously been a commercial property valuer.
Her passion for rangatahi shines through her continued mentorship of young people at various points throughout her professional career.
Georgia will be leading on our stakeholder relationships with kaupapa Māori and Māori led organisations as a result of her success within the Capability Uplift programme as well as leading on SROI analysis for NFP organisations.

DR MARIE NISSANKA
Social Impact Associate
Level 1: Social Value Associate
Marie is a mixed-methods researcher and evaluator with 12+ years of experience in the public, commercial, NGO and tertiary education sectors. Her diverse background spans the areas of community wellbeing, social housing, international development, education, employment, and youth affairs. Marie's work has informed policy decisions and contributed to the collective mahi of improving social outcomes within Aotearoa and overseas.
Marie has used a wide range of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methodologies in her work including Cost-Benefit Analysis, Value for Money, and Social Return on Investment using the CBAX model. Her work has covered crucial social issues related to homelessness, community development, reducing family violence, promoting diversity and increasing employment opportunities for vulnerable communities including people with a refugee background.
With a PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies and a dedication to the wellbeing of rangatahi, Marie brings a comprehensive approach to programme evaluation which blends methodological rigor with storytelling that highlights meaningful social change.
